Position Overview APP (NP or PA) Family & Internal Medicine – Martinsville, VA – 21% sign‑on bonus and NHSC approved site. Carilion Clinic seeks a compassionate and skilled APP to provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients in an outpatient internal medicine setting. The ideal candidate is team‑oriented, clinically strong, and committed to delivering exceptional care across a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions. Perform health assessments, preventive care, and patient education. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans. Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and care team members. Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record. Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia (or eligibility). National board certification. DEA registration (or ability to obtain). Previous internal medicine or primary care experience preferred; new graduates welcomed. Good written and oral communication skills.
