Family Medicine Physician TCRHCC provides the full range of obstetrical and gynecological services. Obstetrical services include routine and complex prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. Gynecological services include preventative and therapeutic treatment of girls, women, and transgender people within the scope of practice. The scope of care may be limited by the facilities. Rarely, the provider may be the sole specialist on duty. Other assignments include consultation services, teaching, and participation in hospital governance. Qualifications Necessary Qualifications Education: A Medical Degree, MD or DO from accredited school of medicine Completion of a four (4) year residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology License/Certification: Must possess and maintain a current and unrestricted license to practice as a physician in any state within the United States, District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Active Candidate or Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Credentialing: Must be a credentialed member of the TCRHCC Medical Staff Other Skills and Abilities: A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment as evidenced by positive employment references from previous and current employers. All employment references must address and indicate success in each one of the following areas: Positive working relationships with others; Possession of high ethical standards and no history of complaints; Reliable and dependable; reports to work as scheduled without excessive absences; Excellent clinical skills and judgment; Successful completion of and positive results from all background and reference checks, including positive employment references from authorized representatives of past and current employers demonstrating to the satisfaction of TCRHCC a record of satisfactory performance and that the applicant can perform the essential functions of the job; Successful completion of fingerprint clearance requirements, physical examinations, and other screenings indicating that the applicant is qualified to be employed by TCRHCC and demonstrating to the satisfaction of TCRHCC that the applicant can perform the essential functions of the job; Submission of all required employment-related documents, applications, resumes, references, and other required information free of false, misleading, or incomplete information, as determined by TCRHCC.
