Overview This position is for physicians who want to practice independently while receiving structured operational support from MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. Physicians own and operate their own practice entity; MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support. This is not an employed physician position; physicians maintain full clinical authority and decision‑making. Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the physician’s specialty scope Develop professional relationships within the medical community Coordinate payer credentialing in collaboration with MedCBO Determine clinical services offered Manage clinical quality and ensure a positive patient experience Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation (EHR, telehealth, clinical workflow systems) Credentialing, enrollment, and facility privileging coordination Supply chain and vendor coordination HR administration, staffing workflows, and compliance support Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology or a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice Interest in the independent practice model Preferred Desire for practice ownership Community‑based care interest Leadership or program development interest Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is derived from the physician‑owned practice.
