Adjunct - Professor, Kinesiology & Health The San Bernardino Community College District invites applications for part-time adjunct positions in the Kinesiology & Health department at San Bernardino Valley College and Crafton Hills College. Education Master's degree in kinesiology, physical education, exercise science, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise or adaptive physical education. OR Bachelor's degree in any of the above fields combined with a Master's degree in any life science, dance, physiology, health education, recreation administration, or physical therapy. OR an equivalent educational combination. Applicants who do not meet the minimum educational requirements may submit an Equivalency Request and supporting documentation. Experience Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, including those with physical and learning disabilities. Desired Qualifications Experience teaching Kinesiology courses at the college level. Environment Work is performed primarily in a standard office setting. Physical Requirements Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to occasionally lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to 25 pounds; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination, including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
