Job Title Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities Develop and maintain nursing service objectives and standards of nursing practice in accordance with nursing policies and procedures. Assess each resident’s needs and assist in the development of a nursing care treatment plan to meet daily treatment and care needs. Participate in the interdisciplinary team and work cooperatively with team members to ensure coordination of care and treatment for residents. Ensure nursing personnel provide treatments, medications, diets, rehabilitative nursing care, activities of daily living, protective services, and training in self‑care as stated in the care plan to provide optimal comfort and care. Train nursing staff in the proper provision of direct care to residents. Lead others through actions consistent with and serve the organization’s culture. Qualifications Current RN or LVN license required. Minimum of 2 years of long‑term care experience preferred. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
