Job Description Performs moderate and high complexity testing under general supervision of the Laboratory Manager. The role includes routine laboratory testing, quality control testing, general and instrument maintenance, calling of critical and questionable results to providers, resulting of tests using laboratory information systems, general troubleshooting of instrumentation, and communicating technical information to appropriate persons. This position is located at Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA). Responsibilities Perform moderate and high complexity testing Conduct routine laboratory testing Execute quality control testing Perform general and instrument maintenance Call critical and questionable results to the appropriate providers Result tests using laboratory information systems Troubleshoot instrumentation Communicate technical information to relevant personnel Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in chemical or biological sciences including 24 semester hours of science courses: 6 semester hours of chemistry, 6 semester hours of biology, and 12 semester hours of any combination of chemical or biological sciences.
