For more than 30 years, Hogge Precision has supplied precision machined components and assemblies to customers across aerospace, medical, fluid control, power transmission, and industrial markets. This position plays a critical leadership role in maintaining AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards while helping guide the next phase of operational and quality-system growth. You will step into a well-established quality department with strong technical talent already in place. The company is looking for someone who can bring strategic thinking, leadership, customer communication skills, and deep machining knowledge to the management side of the operation. The Work You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Lead and manage the company's quality department within a precision CNC machining environment Serve as the management representative during AS9100 and ISO audits Oversee quality planning for new jobs and production launches Develop inspection plans and measurement strategies based on customer drawings and GD&T requirements Define measurement methods, tooling, inspection flow, and quality documentation processes Support APQP, PPAP, FAI, and customer-specific quality requirements Review dimensional requirements and determine appropriate inspection methods and gauging Collaborate closely with machinists, programmers, engineering, and production teams Maintain customer-facing communication regarding quality, corrective actions, and audits Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout manufacturing and inspection processes Support traceability, documentation control, inspection reporting, and certification management Machines, Equipment & Quality Systems You'll work in a modern 42,000-square-foot, climate-controlled precision machining facility featuring advanced CNC manufacturing and inspection technology. Manufacturing capabilities include: 7 & 8-axis CNC turning centers CNC Swiss machining Horizontal and vertical machining centers Multi-spindle screw machines Lights-out manufacturing systems Quality equipment and systems include: CMM inspection systems Vision measurement systems Optical comparators Micrometers, calipers, thread gauging, and precision inspection tools Mitutoyo MCosmos software environment APQP / PPAP quality planning systems GD&T-based inspection processes First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation Materials & Industries You'll support manufacturing operations producing precision components for industries including: Aerospace & Defense Medical Devices Fluid & Air Controls Power Transmission Motion Control Hydraulics & Pneumatics Industrial Manufacturing Common materials include: Aluminum Stainless Steel Mild & Alloy Steels Copper & Brass Typical tolerances are held as close as 0.0005".
