We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented accounting professional who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative finance team. This role supports core accounting operations and plays an important part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.This role is based out of our West Allis office with an in-office schedule of Tuesday through Thursday and remote flexibility on Monday and Friday.What Makes This a Great Opportunity?This role is a great opportunity to build and strengthen your accounting foundation. You'll gain hands-on experience across month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting, while working closely with experienced accounting professionals.It's an ideal role for someone early in their accounting career who wants exposure to a variety of responsibilities and clear opportunities to grow into more advanced roles over time.Here's a General Overview of What You'll Be Doing:Prepare and review accounting transactionsReconcile assigned balance sheet accountsSupport month-end close activities as assignedReview and analyze month-end reportsRoll forward workpapers and supporting schedulesAssist with audits and compliance reporting and interact with audit partners as neededParticipate in internal controls and process improvement initiativesProcess AP transactions as neededProcess sales tax payments for assigned jurisdictionsServe as a backup for payroll processingWhat We're Looking For:1-3 years of accounting experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldBasic understanding of GAAP and accounting principlesStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracySolid Excel skills and comfort working with financial systemsAbility to learn quickly and apply new conceptsStrong organizational and time management skillsA collaborative, team-oriented mindsetIt Would Also Be Nice to Have:CPA certification (or interest in pursuing one)Experience with ERP or general ledger systemsExposure to audits, compliance reporting, internal controlsA curious mindset - someone who asks questions and seeks to improve processesWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
