Overview Seeking BC/BE Urologist to join a multi-specialty group in Knoxville, TN. Outpatient - General Urology position. Employed opportunity. Call Coverage is split equally among physicians. State-of-the-art da Vinci robotic surgical system. Lithotripsy Machine and Cysto Suite in hospital. Block time is available. Provider will rotate out of 4 clinics. Strong hospitalist support. Designated anesthesia coverage. Outpatient surgery centers at North Knoxville and Turkey Creek. Current volume: 16 procedures per day. Office space located in a medical office building connected to the hospital. Responsibilities Practice is outpatient general urology within a multi-provider group (3 other providers: 2 full-time, 1 part-time) and 2 NPs Share call coverage among the physicians Utilize the da Vinci robotic system for eligible procedures Collaborate with hospitalists and anesthesia teams to provide patient care Support outpatient surgery center activities Rotate between multiple clinics as assigned Maintain high-quality patient care in a busy practice setting Compensation & Benefits Base salary with compensation package based on MGMA guidelines Incentive bonus based on WRVUs Commencement/signing bonus Medical education debt assistance Residency/fellowship stipend (if applicable) Relocation expenses Continuation of CME benefits Vacation, health, dental, and vision benefits Licensure dues and subscriptions Mid-level supervision compensation Qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible Urologist Experience or interest in robotic-assisted surgery is preferred Ability to work in a multi-specialty, collaborative environment About the Community Knoxville is in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and is home to the University of Tennessee, Tennessee Valley Authority, and close to a National Lab and high-tech industry.
