You’ll partner closely with hospital leadership to ensure consistent medical standards while fostering a positive, accountable, and collaborative environment. Medical Leadership Provide oversight of medical and surgical cases Establish, uphold, and evolve medical protocols and standards of care Support continuity of care across doctors Guide diagnostics, treatment planning, and client communication Ensure the hospital remains inspection-ready at all times Mentorship & Leadership Development Mentor and support associate veterinarians Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and performance development Partner with leadership on training, CE tracking, and licensure Promote a respectful, team-first culture Practice Operations & Growth Support efficient workflows and operational improvements Encourage client education, compliance, and patient visits Participate in hospital initiatives and community engagement Help guide the practice through an upcoming leadership transition Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $140,000–$160,000 (depending on experience) Production based bonuses Additional management bonuses Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid vacation and sick time CE allowance, paid licensure, and membership dues Generous personal pet care discounts The Ideal Candidate DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary school Active Arizona license (or ability to obtain) 5+ years of clinical experience Previous leadership or management experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Passion for mentorship, collaboration, and culture-building Commitment to practicing high-quality, ethical veterinary medicine About National Veterinary Associates National Veterinary Associates is a leading global pet care organization united in the love of animals and the people who love them.
