Our Skilled Nursing Facility, located near Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Director of Nursing, RN who is self‑motivated, has previous experience, is organized, and has excellent communication skills. The Director of Nursing will assist us in achieving our mission of growing a quality-oriented and employee-friendly organization. Director of Nursing Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee nursing policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of resident care Direct the day‑to‑day functions of nursing assistants following all facility and regulatory guidelines Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with established facility policies and procedures Foster a caring and compassionate atmosphere for residents and their families Coordinate daily staff planning and shift management Ensure proper documentation of all activities, incidents, and resident conditions Participate in the facility’s quality assurance program to improve patient outcomes Assist in facility surveys and inspections conducted by government agencies Manage resident admissions, transfers, and discharges per facility policy Transcribe and record physician orders accurately and efficiently Ensure compliance with all reporting and documentation requirements Director of Nursing Qualifications: Current Illinois RN license in good standing Minimum of 1 year of managerial/supervisory experience , preferably in a long‑term care setting Strong leadership skills , with expertise in human resources management, strategic planning, and nursing program development Benefits: We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits package. #J-18808-Ljbffr
