Job Summary The University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking a clinical faculty member for Internal Medicine. The role primarily involves hospital-based clinical services for patients at Chandler and Good Samaritan Hospitals and the Hospital Medicine division’s clinical practice at the University of Kentucky Health Enterprise. The faculty member may also provide clinical teaching and advising to medical students and trainees in other departments throughout the College of Medicine. The individual will be an active participant and leader of division and department clinical activities such as grand rounds, morning report, noon conference, and serve on clinical committees that enhance the care of patients and operation of the clinical practice. Qualifications Completion of residency in Internal Medicine. Internal Medicine Board certified or eligible for KY Medical License at employment. Responsibilities Provide hospital-based clinical services at Chandler and Good Samaritan Hospitals. Teach and advise medical students and trainees. Participate in and lead clinical activities (grand rounds, morning report, noon conference). Serve on clinical committees to enhance patient care and clinical operations.
