Job duties and benefits may vary between franchises. Job Summary Perform radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and diseases. Assist with administrative and clinical needs, including patient registration and medical assisting duties. Responsibilities Greet patients and explain procedures compassionately Position patients appropriately for diagnostic imaging Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques Process images, review for proper identification and quality, and prepare images for physician review Utilize digital and non-digital diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures Assist providers with prescribed treatments as per standards and protocols Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and arrange repairs on equipment Maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed Serve as Medical Receptionist and/or Medical Assistant if needed within guidelines Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1-year related experience. ARRT-registered or eligible preferred. Licensed per state regulation.
