Overview This opportunity is for physicians who want to practice independently while receiving structured operational support for the non‑clinical business functions of their own practice. Physicians own and operate a practice entity; MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support. The physician governs clinical operations, decisions, and patient‑care policies. MedCBO does not direct patient care. Physician Responsibilities Provide nephrology care within your specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing as required. Determine the clinical services offered by the practice. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform implementation and support Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in nephrology, or other appropriate specialty. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership Community‑based care interest Leadership or program development interest Location Multiple U.S. markets are available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is not a salary and is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
