The Opportunity Communicate and champion Vituity’s purpose, mission, and strategy, ensuring alignment. Assure compliance with all Vituity requirements and communicate policies to providers. Monitor healthcare and economic trends, assess impact on practice and region. Strategize and execute a comprehensive annual practice management plan with clear goals. Lead the local site’s administrative team, selecting members and aligning responsibilities. Master Vituity policies and fiduciary obligations, ensuring adherence by providers. Foster open communication and transparent decision‑making, including annual reviews. Demonstrate understanding of hospital expectations and uphold contractual compliance. Monitor operational and quality metrics and implement Vituity initiatives for improvement. Improve operational processes using technology and best practices. Track site financial performance and identify growth opportunities. Understand the yearly budget, financial measures, billing, and reimbursement systems. Optimize billing practice statistics and reimbursement. Maintain relationships with payers such as IPA’s, medical groups, foundations, ACO’s. Execute recruitment, onboarding, and training of new providers. Provide learning and mentoring for clinical and leadership development. Evaluate physician and PA/NP performance per Vituity policies. Monitor competencies, provide coaching, and remove staff if necessary. Participate in contract negotiations with the Regional Director. Maintain collaborative relationships with hospital leadership and staff. Represent practice in hospital committees and community leadership roles. Required Experience and Competencies Licensed MD or DO with completed residency. Maintain hospital medical staff membership and comply with bylaws and policies. Physician partnership status. Five or more years of leadership experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Superior clinical skills. Interpersonal, leadership, and team‑motivation skills. Patient mix includes underserved families. Annual volume 24,000‑25,000 patients (64 per day). Sub‑specialty backup includes Hospital Medicine, Anesthesiology, and 24/7 OBGYN.
