We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to scale production of next-generation commercial and industrial thermal systems, including unfired boilers and steam-generating heat pumps. In this role, you'll drive manufacturability, cost, quality, and delivery performance for complex equipment-leading initiatives across DFMA, production ramp, industrial engineering, and supplier integration. You'll be a key leader shaping how cutting-edge thermal systems move from design to high-volume production. What You'll Do Lead & Scale Manufacturing Build and lead a high-performing manufacturing engineering team Define and execute manufacturing strategies aligned to growth and electrification Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Product, Supply Chain, and Operations Drive Product Industrialization (DFMA) Lead DFMA for boilers, steam systems, and heat pumps Optimize designs for fabrication, assembly, and serviceability Oversee pilot builds, validation, and manufacturing readiness Enable Production Ramp Design efficient layouts and production lines for large-scale equipment Implement lean principles (flow, line balancing, cycle time reduction) Develop capacity models, labor standards, and capital plans Stand up and optimize test systems (pressure, thermal, performance) Own Supplier Technical Strategy Act as the engineering lead for critical suppliers (heat exchangers, coils, pressure vessels, compressors) Drive supplier quality and manufacturability (PPAP/APQP, audits, DFMA alignment) Resolve technical challenges for build-to-print components Build World-Class Processes Standardize processes (welding, brazing, leak testing, refrigerant handling) Lead Lean / Six Sigma improvements across yield, throughput, and cost Establish robust documentation, work instructions, and training systems Ensure Quality, Compliance & Safety Maintain compliance with ASME, UL/ETL/CSA, and HVAC standards Partner with Quality on root cause and corrective actions Champion safe practices for high-pressure, high-temperature, and refrigerant systems What You Bring Required Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related engineering field 10+ years in manufacturing engineering (thermal systems, HVAC, boilers, or industrial equipment) 3-5+ years leading engineering teams Technical Strengths Deep DFMA experience for thermal/fluid systems Expertise in fabrication processes (welding, brazing, machining, forming) Experience scaling from pilot to full production Strong knowledge of heat transfer, pressure systems, and electro-mechanical assembly Nice to Have ASME pressure vessel manufacturing experience Background in boilers, steam systems, or industrial heat pumps Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt) ERP/MRP and manufacturing analytics familiarity Who You Are Hands-on leader with strong technical judgment Execution-focused and results-driven Collaborative across functions and suppliers Skilled at scaling operations in fast-growing environments Committed to quality, reliability, and ownership Why Join Us Shape the future of electrified thermal systems Work on critical infrastructure driving industrial decarbonization Lead manufacturing innovation in a rapidly growing space Strong growth opportunity The pay range for this role is:125,000 - 145,000 USD per year(Loveland)PI5f933ef15dfb-0585
