Stanford Medicine Family Medicine Residency Core Faculty Member University Medical Partners (UMP), in partnership with Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley (SHTV) and Stanford Medicine, is seeking a full-time, board‑certified Family Medicine physician with a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Sports Medicine to serve as Core Faculty in its community‑based 8‑8‑8 residency program located in Pleasanton, CA. Employment Relationship This position is employed solely by UMP, the employer of record. While the role collaborates closely with SHTV and Stanford University School of Medicine, those entities are not employers. The employment relationship remains strictly with UMP. Position Highlights Faculty practice in outpatient and inpatient settings. Teach full‑scope Family Medicine within a supportive community‑based program. Supervise residents in the new UMP Family Medicine Residency Clinic. Supervise residents on the inpatient family medicine teaching service at SHTV Hospital. Work within an integrated health‑care system focused on team‑based care. Maintain a reasonable call schedule with approximately six weeks of inpatient responsibilities annually. Utilize a common EHR across all Stanford Clinic sites. Receive a 40% FTE for direct patient care and 60% FTE for residency‑related activities such as supervision, curriculum development, didactic sessions, program administration, scholarly activities, and professional engagement. Opportunity to assist the Program Director in building a new community‑based academic residency program with full support from Stanford Health Care and Stanford Medicine. Central role in curriculum development, resident evaluation, teaching, and scholarly activities in alignment with ACGME requirements.
