Within this role, you will ensure for the safe and effective oversight of subsurface activities and support the development of policies, guidance, and program improvements. As a Licensed Professional Geologist, you will perform the following duties: Policy Guidance: Prepare, interpret, and update geological policies, procedures, manuals, and technical standardsRegulatory Development: Assist with drafting rules, reviewing legislation, and coordinating regulatory updates with internal and external partnersTechnical Training: Provide training on subsurface geological topics to staff and support updates to manuals and guidance documentsProgram Support: Assist with the development and evaluation of the Underground Injection Control program and related activitiesTechnical Review: Analyze reports, proposals, and subsurface data to ensure compliance with approved proceduresPublic and Agency Coordination: Respond to inquiries, support Right-to-Know requests, and represent the bureau at meetings and hearings Interested in learning more?
