The ADON helps oversee the nursing department for our skilled nursing facility. Our commitment is more than a job. We are making a difference in the quality of life for our patients/residents and families. Responsibilities The ADON helps to oversee the nursing department for our skilled nursing facility. Assists in coordinating and managing overall operation of the nursing department in accordance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory bodies. Works cooperatively with nurses, LPNs, CNAs, and corporate nursing consultants to support the Director of Nursing. Role involves supervising a team of nursing staff and ensuring compliance with regulations. Qualifications Current RN license. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and work well with others. Minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in geriatrics. Long‑term care and supervisory experience required. Knowledgeable in the interpretation of Federal, State, and local regulations relating to long‑term care facilities. Ability to relate professionally with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians, and vendors. Strong leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Benefits Salaried position.
