NYU LANGONE HEALTH NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician with Residency Leadership Experience Position Overview The NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine's Division of Internal Medicine seeks a full-time board certified in Internal Medicine Physician with experience in leading an Internal Medicine Residency program for our NYU-Suffolk location to join our growing team. Internal Medicine Residency Program Director Responsibilities Leadership & faculty oversight Resident Management ACGME compliance & documentation Implement policies and monitor duty hours & work environment, in accordance with ACGME and NYSDOH requirements Communicate and support all hospital Clinical Learning Environment Review (CLER) initiatives to faculty and house staff. Respond to ACGME Resident Survey results. Comply with all Match & Regulatory requirements Clinical Responsibilities/Practice Setting The successful candidate will practice at: NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk, Patchogue Ambulatory Clinic Qualifications Board-certified in Internal Medicine; Minimum of 5 years' experience Active or eligible for New York State medical license at time of employment Strong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence Interest in academic medicine and medical education Academic Appointment This position includes a faculty appointment at the NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine with comprehensive academic benefits. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $225,000-$250,000 The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors.
