This position will offer executive leadership to our Provider Contracting team, focusing on our Medicare line of business in the South Central Region, which encompasses Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. You'll possess a comprehensive understanding of health plan finance and the dynamics of compensation arrangements between health plans and providers, including funding, risk management, and reimbursement strategies. Leverage Your Expertise to Make a Difference Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in the healthcare field. Proven experience overseeing the complete contract negotiation process for a diverse array of providers, including physicians, hospitals, and post-acute care facilities across Medicare, Medicaid, and Employer Group sectors. Well-versed in value-based risk arrangements, with the capability to influence these frameworks. Demonstrated ability in hiring and developing talent, fostering growth among associates for advanced roles. Proficient in identifying health service expenses and implementing cost-control strategies within contracts. Experience in recruiting providers to align networks with sales processes, managing provider relationships, and enhancing satisfaction through effective communication and claims resolution. Previous executive leadership experience in sales, finance, legal, health services, or medical management; ability to collaborate across functions to create mutual benefit strategies. Regarded as a thought leader in healthcare trend mitigation. Adept at navigating and managing in a complex matrixed organizational structure within a large enterprise. Exceptional relationship management skills, with the ability to effectively define and initiate opportunities with business partners. Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the poise and presence needed to represent Humana positively in various external environments. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or J.D. degree. History of success in leading provider contracting and engagement initiatives for all lines of business. This role is remote, however, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Compensation Range The salary range provided below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) positions at the time of this posting. Pay may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications, including job-related skills, experience, and education. $203,400 - $279,800 per year This position is also eligible for a bonus incentive plan, centered around both company and individual performance metrics.
