Responsibilities The Department of Ophthalmology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN seeks a board‑eligible or board‑certified, fellowship‑trained pediatric ophthalmologist to join an established practice. The role involves clinical care of pediatric patients, a busy ophthalmology and strabismus surgical practice, and teaching and supervision of residents and fellows in clinics and operating rooms. Candidates should have an academic interest in clinical and/or laboratory research. Qualifications Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Ophthalmology. Completion of a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology. MD, DO, or equivalent international medical degree. Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Minnesota. Compensation Detail The minimum starting salary for surgical specialties may range from $307,250 to $843,000. This range reflects total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay will vary based on specialty, experience, and full‑time equivalent.
