Endocrinology Physician AssistantBronx, New YorkPosition OverviewA large, well-established multispecialty group in the Bronx is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant with endocrinology experience to join its growing endocrinology team. This is a permanent, primarily outpatient role with a predictable weekday schedule and opportunities to collaborate closely with endocrinologists and other specialty APPs.Clinical ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of endocrine disorders, including:Diabetes mellitus (Type 1, Type 2, gestational)Thyroid diseaseAdrenal and pituitary disordersOsteoporosisMetabolic syndromesPerform comprehensive histories and physical examinations focused on endocrine conditionsInitiate and adjust medications, including insulin and hormone therapies, under collaborative protocolsInterpret laboratory results, imaging, and diagnostic studies related to endocrine diseaseProvide detailed patient education on disease management, medications, lifestyle modification, and self-careManage and support diabetes technologies such as CGMs and insulin pumpsMonitor patient progress, review abnormal labs, manage refills, and handle follow-up concernsCollaborate with endocrinologists and care team members to ensure continuity and quality of careDocument clinical encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMRParticipate in care coordination, quality initiatives, and population health effortsOccasional involvement in inpatient endocrinology consultations, as neededScheduleMonday-Friday8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.No nights or weekends mentionedRequirementsBoard-certified or board-eligible Physician AssistantPost-training endocrinology experience requiredStrong clinical skills in diabetes managementExperience with CGMs and insulin pumps strongly preferredBilingual Spanish skills are a plus, not requiredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary: $135,000-$150,000 annuallyComprehensive benefits packageH-1B visa sponsorship available, if neededOrganization HighlightsLarge multispecialty group with locations throughout the five boroughsOver 140 physicians and 100+ APPsMultiple practice locations throughout the BronxEasily accessible via public transportationLifestylePractice in the Bronx with access to all that New York City has to offerUrban setting with abundant cultural, dining, and transportation options
