Position Overview Optometrist position in West Des Moines, Iowa with a large private ophthalmology/optometry group. About the Practice Our physician‑owned, multispecialty medical and surgical eye care practice has been in business for many years and has well‑established locations across Iowa. Key Responsibilities Provide broad spectrum primary eye care, diagnose and manage acute and chronic eye diseases, co‑manage cataract and other surgical patients, and offer contact lens services. The practice provides on‑site equipment such as OCT, visual field unit and auto‑refractor; most locations have an optical department. Clinic Hours Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation & Benefits Competitive income, bonuses based on profitability, practice management tools and support, and a comfortable work/life balance.
