Position Summary Boston Medical Center’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a per diem OBGYN provider (moonlighter) to provide high-quality clinical coverage on the Labor & Delivery unit at our Brighton campus. Position Details Position: OBGYN Department: Women's Health L&D Schedule: Part Time, Per Diem Essential Responsibilities / Duties Provide in-house coverage for Labor & Delivery, Triage, and Postpartum units. Manage obstetric emergencies, deliveries, and inpatient consults. Collaborate closely with midwives, physician assistants, nurses, and anesthesiology staff to ensure safe, patient-centered care. Document care in compliance with BMC and departmental standards. Participate in handoffs and maintain effective communication across the care team. Provide inpatient GYN consults and surgical management, as well as ED GYN consults. Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Current Massachusetts medical license (or eligibility to obtain). BLS and ACLS certification required; NRP preferred. Experience managing obstetric emergencies and L&D coverage preferred. Commitment to providing equitable and culturally competent care. Schedule & Compensation Per diem, flexible shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays as available). Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience. The base salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to clinical FTE, qualifications, experience, education, board certifications, specialty, training, and scope of practice. The above hiring range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Any eligible incentive compensation is not included in the above compensation range and will be discussed during the interview process.
