Overview The Department of Neurology at the University of Minnesota invites applications for a full‑time academic epileptologist to join a nationally recognized, rapidly expanding Level IV comprehensive epilepsy center. The program offers advanced epilepsy care, including robotic stereo‑EEG, laser interstitial thermal therapy, radiofrequency ablation, neuromodulation, and 7‑Tesla MRI. Clinical Responsibilities Approximately 10 weeks per year of inpatient EMU/ICU service. Outpatient clinics at St. Louis Park and the University Clinical and Surgery Center. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Neurology residency program and board certified or board prepared (ABMS or AOA). Graduate of an Epilepsy fellowship and board certified or board prepared for the Epilepsy subspecialty. Licensed or able to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice licensure. Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota. Meet threshold criteria and qualifications for credentialing and privileges. Excellent teaching and interpersonal skills. Payment and Benefits The position is dually employed by University of Minnesota Physicians and the University of Minnesota. Base salary ranges from $218,757 to $344,326, commensurate with experience. Clinical salary aligns with clinical effort and is provided through MPhysicians.
