Nephrologist – Independent Practice Track (MedCBO Supported) MedCBO, Inc. provides independent practice support for physicians who wish to own and operate their own nephrology practice with structured administrative and operational support. This opportunity is for physicians who want clinical autonomy without the burden of billing complexity, staffing risk, payer contracting, and administrative overhead. Overview Physicians will own and operate their own practice entity while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support services. This is not an employed physician position. Physician Responsibilities Provide clinical care within your nephrology specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing and enrollment. Determine clinical services offered and manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination and legal support. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure, reporting, and practice financial management. Operational workflows, staffing systems, HR administration, and compliance support. Technology platform implementation, EHR support, telehealth, and clinical workflow systems. Supply chain and vendor coordination. Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board certified or board eligible in a nephrology specialty. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
