Overview West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute (RNI) and the Department of Neurosurgery are seeking a qualified Neurosurgeon (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank) who will practice in Weirton, WV. Duties Practice general neurosurgery with a heavy focus on spine care. Cover eight nights of call per month across the RNI community‑based neurosurgeon network. Qualifications MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and eligibility for state medical licensure. Completed neurosurgery residency program. Board‑eligible or board‑certified in neurosurgery. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. Schedule & Compensation 40 hours per week. Exempt position. Location Weirton, West Virginia (within the WVU Health System network). The position may include call coverage at Wheeling Hospital.
