Position: Cardiology APRN Location: Fairfield, CT Position Type: Full‑Time EMR System: Epic Responsibilities Provide assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patient/family needs throughout the process as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team. Work in collaboration with the attending supervising/collaborating physician(s) in accordance with state law and hospital regulations, hospital policy, protocols, and clinical pathways, and may provide autonomous team‑based care. Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, review/order diagnostic and therapeutic tests and radiologic results, and formulate and manage patient treatment plans. Educate patients and families on care and available resources, including admitting instructions, treatment plans, potential side effects, and discharge plans. Provide psychosocial support to patients, their family members, and significant others in a caring, ethical, and professional manner as part of an interdisciplinary team. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or an accredited Physician Assistant Program. Cardiology and/or telemetry experience required.
