Additional Information About the Role BJC Medical Group is seeking an Outpatient Neurologist to join their successful group based at Neurology Associates, located within Alton Memorial Hospital, just 15 minutes from St. Louis, Missouri. We offer $30,000 signing bonus, a relocation package, $2K Monthly Residency and Fellowship Stipend, 2 year income guarantee starting at $340K–$350K and much more. Practice Highlights Clinical Hours: 36 clinical hours per week, primarily outpatient-focused with support from a Neuro-Hospitalist team for inpatient care. Practice Scope: Join an existing, growing practice offering a full spectrum of neurology services. Procedures are available but not mandatory. Support: Access to a dedicated support staff and utilize the EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. For questions and/or further information please reach out to Rachel Murray: Role Purpose The physician will provide professional medical services within the practicing Specialty to the best of the physician’s ability through direct patient care and spend additional time as necessary to perform other related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations and inbasket management, conducting patient-specific education and collaborating with advanced practice providers and care team members. Responsibilities Manage the medical care of patient panel by providing or otherwise arranging for inpatient hospital care of the physician’s patients, either through regular hospital rounds, making arrangements with one or more hospitalist(s) or other qualified physician to provide coverage for hospitalized patients consistent with Medical Staff requirements. Collaborate with patients, families, and members of the care team to ensure excellent patient care outcomes at the clinic location(s) designated by BJC and any other BJC clinical outreach location to which physician may be assigned as patient care demands. Perform and document medical histories and physicals in the patient’s medical record as required by hospital medical staff bylaws. Provide or arrange call coverage for clinic patients and inpatient call coverage in a manner acceptable to BJC and in accordance with Medical Staff bylaws, while observing and following all BJC policies and procedures and all applicable legal, ethical and professional standards. Collaborate and teach advanced practice providers, support staff or any care team member assigned in the care of physician’s patient panel. BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. Experience: Supervisor Experience: No Experience. Licenses & Certifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Practicing Specialty; Licensed Physician.
