This leadership role is ideal for a highly motivated nursing professional who thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centered care. This position supports a broad spectrum of Women & Infants Services including: Labor & Delivery Triage Nursery Mom/Baby Postpartum Pediatrics As an Associate Director, you will play a critical role in clinical leadership, staff development, operational excellence, and maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Support and mentor nursing staff to foster clinical excellence and professional growth. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and evidence-based practices. Assist with staffing coordination, scheduling, and resource management. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, compassion, and teamwork. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and strategic planning. Serve as a clinical and operational resource for nursing teams across WIS departments. Qualifications Required: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience. Strong communication, organizational, and decision‑making skills. Experience in Women & Infants Services, Labor & Delivery, Pediatrics, or related specialties. Commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care. Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or related healthcare field. Leadership certification or Nurse Executive experience.
