Job Overview Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Department of Neurology seeks a qualified Neurohospitalist to join an expanding Neurology Department and provide bedside and remote care to hospitalized patients with neurological issues. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Neurology and demonstrate excellent credentials in education and clinical care. Experience as a Neurohospitalist is desirable. Responsibilities Provide inpatient neurological care for complex neurological disorders. Run an outpatient discharge clinic and follow-up care with the team. Coordinate referrals to specialized divisions (Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, Cognitive & Behavioral Neurology, General Neurology, Neuromuscular, Stroke). Participate in teaching medical students and neurology residents on the inpatient and consultation services rotation. Engage in interdisciplinary specialty support and collaborate with hospital teams. Assist in program directorship for establishing a Neurohospitalist fellowship program. Qualifications Board certification or eligibility in Neurology. Strong focus on collaboration, innovation, and teamwork. Excellent educational and clinical care qualifications.
