Responsibilities Provide emergency evaluation and triage, admission, and formation of differential diagnoses. Develop comprehensive care plans based on current evidence‑based protocols. Provide primary and consultative medical care to patients admitted to various units. Coordinate patient care through collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and ancillary service providers. Keep patients informed and provide periodic updates. Participate in utilization management, risk management, and performance improvement programs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required. Preferred: 2 years of experience as a Hospitalist. Licensing Current medical license issued by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
