Division Overview We seek an accomplished academic leader with a demonstrated history of excellence in clinical care, research, education, and mentorship. The Division of Pediatric Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology is internationally recognized for its comprehensive clinical programs and its pioneering contributions to understanding and treating allergic disease, asthma, immunodeficiency, and autoimmune disorders. The Division includes seven full‑time faculty in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology and three full‑time faculty in Pediatric Rheumatology. Faculty members maintain extensive collaborations across Johns Hopkins and with national and international partners, translating scientific discovery into innovative therapies for children with complex immune‑mediated conditions. The Division also oversees a longstanding, and highly regarded, Allergy and Immunology fellowship program, supported by a T32 training grant that has been continuously funded for more than four decades, underscoring the institution’s enduring commitment to training future leaders in the discipline. Qualifications Qualified applicants must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree and be board certified in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology or Pediatric Rheumatology. Candidates should demonstrate a sustained record of scholarly achievement, excellence in patient care and education, and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
