A 420-bed regional referral and Level II trauma center in Dothan, AL, is seeking a hospital-employed Outpatient Neurologist to join its Neurospine Center. The physician will see patients in a hospital-based NeuroSciences outpatient clinic located on campus with neurotesting available in the hospital. This is an outpatient position with day shift hours and no call, weekends, or holidays required. Responsibilities See patients in the hospital-based NeuroSciences outpatient clinic on campus Work collaboratively with Neurosurgeons, Interventional Neuradiologists, Radiation Oncologists, physical medicine, and rehabilitation specialists to provide a multidisciplinary approach to comprehensive care Participate with Neurointerventionalists and Neurohospitalists as part of the Neuroscience team Support stroke teleneurology services Engage with the Neuromuscular Rehab & Balance Center as appropriate Opportunity to precept residents and medical students Outpatient-only practice — no call required Requirements Minimum Qualifications Board certified or board eligible in Neurology Active Alabama medical license with no restrictions (MD/DO) DEA certification Preferred Qualifications Post-graduate training or experience in EMG/NCV Sub-certification in EMG/NCV #J-18808-Ljbffr
