It is the only acute care hospital in the Mid‑Valley area and the only Level III Trauma Center, Advanced Primary Stroke Center, and Level II Newborn Nursery in Weslaco. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions. Perform orthopedic surgical and non‑surgical procedures consistent with training and expertise. Provide inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care. Collaborate with emergency medicine, primary care physicians, and specialty providers. Participate in call coverage as assigned. Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation. Adhere to hospital quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
