Position Asst/Assoc/Professor Internal Medicine – Pulmonary/Critical Care Location & Travel Work Location: Amarillo Travel Required: Up to 25% Responsibilities Analyze patient records, reports, test results, and examination information to diagnose medical conditions. Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and specialized medical care, including diagnosis and non‑surgical treatment of diseases as part of a multidisciplinary team. Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients. Monitor patients’ conditions and progress and re‑evaluate treatments as necessary. Examine, collect, record, and maintain patient information such as medical history, reports, and examination results. Teach and mentor medical students and residents through lectures and bedside training. Occasional Duties Give didactic lectures on General Internal Medicine. Participate in research activities. Qualifications MD, DO, or MBBS. Completion of an Internal Medicine Residency. Completion of, or in the process of completing, a Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship. Board Certified, Board Eligible, or in the process of completing training to become Board Eligible in Pulmonary/Critical Care. Ability to obtain a Texas Medical License.
