We are a hospital-employed group with guaranteed shifts and hours, no partnership track/buy-in and equal parity, scheduling, and vote from day one! Mountain View, MO is a rural community of 3,000 and home to a beautiful outdoor recreation and conservation area as part of the Mark Twain National Forest. Responsibilities Provide ED coverage and hospitalist coverage during the day; operate with a virtual hospitalist at night Manage an annual ED volume of 7–8k patients and an average inpatient census of 4 Coordinate easy transfers (ground and air) to Mercy Hospital – Springfield, a 886-bed level I trauma center Utilize 24/7 radiology technicians and available basic EM procedures including video Glidescope and Ultrasound Practice without a trauma designation requirement Collaborate with the EPIC EMR across Mercy Engage in teaching partnerships with nearby medical schools if desired Benefits & Compensation Schedule completed three months in advance for work/life balance $230/hour guaranteed rate 12-hour shifts, 11–12 shifts per month or more if desired $50,000 signing bonus plus paid relocation Supportive administration, physician partners, and mentors NP coverage to assist with inpatient Comprehensive, day-one benefits package for the entire family Occurrence-based liability insurance About the Community Mountain View is a rural community east of Springfield with abundant outdoor recreation, trails, lakes, rivers, fishing, hunting, state parks, caves, and proximity to the Mark Twain National Forest.
