The scope of practice of each physician is defined through the health system’s credentialing and privileging committee. Key responsibilities include: Supports all medical activities at the individual level, including implementation of quality control standards, risk management, and compliance programs. Provides quality clinical care to patients in a timely manner. Supports objectives, budget, and performance metrics at the individual level.
