Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school Active NY DEA Registration Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics Completion of a fellowship program in Allergy and Immunology Board certification in Allergy and Immunology Valid state medical license to practice as an Allergist in NYS BLS Certificate Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate and empathetically interact with patients and their families Strong commitment to professional growth, staying current with the latest advancements in dermatology Hours: Daytime, one evening per week, Fridays and available on weekends Eligible to Work in the US Responsibilities Offering skin consultations. Evaluating patient skin conditions by screening for disease. Utilizing patient medical history as part of skin assessments. Prescribing medication for the treatment of skin conditions. Performing noninvasive surgical procedures on the skin. Referring patients to advanced specialists. Provide patient education on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive measures, ensuring their active involvement in their own healthcare. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant observations. Stay abreast of the latest advancements and research in dermatology through continuous professional development and participation in conferences and workshops.
