Position Board Certified Nephrologist – Inpatient‑focused nephrology hospitalization at Starling Physicians. Responsibilities Provide consultative inpatient nephrology services, including management of acute kidney injury, electrolyte abnormalities, ICU nephrology, continuous renal replacement therapy, acute hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, and apheresis services. Participate in a weekly rotation with 3‑4 nephrologists and 2 advanced practitioners dedicated to full‑time hospital work, including resident and advanced practitioner teaching. Work 7 days on / 7 days off service, with no admitting/consultative only schedule and share approximately 1 in 15 from‑home night call. Collaborate with an inpatient nephrology nurse navigator, full‑time 24/7 surgery service, and support integrated renal transplant service. Qualifications Medical degree with residency in internal medicine or nephrology. Board Certification in Nephrology and active DEA license. Ability to obtain Connecticut licensure before starting practice. Experience or interest in inpatient hospitalist care.
