Location Geisinger Behavioral Health Danville Shift Days (United States of America) Hours Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Job Summary Neuropsychologist - Pediatric/Lifespan. Individuals who have completed special training in the neurobiological causes of brain disorders, specializing in diagnosing and treating these illnesses with a predominantly medical approach. Job Duties Interview patients to obtain information such as symptoms, medical histories, and family histories. Perform and/or interpret diagnostic tests as needed. Diagnose and design a plan of treatment for injuries and/or illnesses. Prescribe or administer medications when appropriate. Prepare, maintain, and review records that include patients' histories, examination findings, treatment plans, or outcomes. Work in a clinical and office environment. Ensure compliance with all organization policies and procedures. Provide neuropsychological services for children and families with epilepsy, cancer, traumatic brain injury, metabolic disorders, genetic disorders, and cognitive sequelae of perinatal issues. Offer assessment for adult/older adult populations pending interest and clinical need. Support psychometrist collaboration as needed. Qualifications Doctoral Degree in Psychology (Required) Licensed Psychologist (Default Issuing Body) Relevant certifications and licenses.
