We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and technically strong accounting professional to play a critical role in regional financial operations. This position supports cross-divisional accounting, treasury, and compliance activities and serves as a key liaison between our North American businesses and our international parent company.This role has an in-office schedule of Tuesday through Thursday and remote flexibility on Monday and Friday.What Makes This a Great Opportunity?You'll work cross-functionally across the US and interact regularly with both regional and global leadership. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work, wants exposure to international finance, and is looking to deepen their technical accounting and treasury experience.You'll play a meaningful role in supporting regional cash management, intercompany activity, compliance, and financial reporting all while contributing to process improvements and internal controls.Here's a General Overview of What You'll Be Doing:Own intercompany transactions with North America sister divisions and German parent companyManage banking administration across North America divisionsPerform banking and cash reconciliationsOwn month-end journal entries and reconciliations for the regionSupport additional month-end activities for select business unitsOwn regional cash forecasting in partnership with the German parent companySupport monthly regional business unit close and forecast activitiesProcess income tax payments in select jurisdictionsUtilize SAP to communicate monthly results to the German parent companyLiaise with internal and external auditors for income tax and financial auditsSupport internal control and compliance initiativesAssist with North America Board of Directors materialsSupport annual insurance renewal processParticipate in annual budgeting activities for regional business unitsWhat We're Looking For:3-5 years of accounting experienceStrong understanding of GAAP and IFRSExperience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closeAdvanced Excel skills and strong system proficiencyExperience working with ERP or general ledger systems (SAP preferred)Strong attention to detail with high standards for accuracyAbility to work independently while collaborating across teamsStrong organizational and communication skillsIt Would Also Be Nice to Have:CPA certification (or progress toward one)Experience working in a multi-entity or international environmentExposure to treasury or cash management activitiesA continuous improvement mindset - someone who looks for ways to streamline processes and enhance controlsExperience partnering with auditors and external financial stakeholdersWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
