Position Overview West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Endocrinologist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, WV, serving patients at WVU Golisano Children’s Hospital. Duties Practice in the areas of Pediatric Endocrinology. Provide excellent patient care to children and adolescents. Actively involved in teaching medical students and residents. Qualifications MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligibility for a state medical license. Completed a pediatrics residency program and an endocrinology fellowship program. Board certified or eligible in pediatric endocrinology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. Hospital and Facility WVU Golisano Children’s Hospital is a 150‑bed facility with dedicated pediatric operating rooms, cardiac catheterization laboratory, interventional radiology, gastrointestinal endoscopy, pediatric anesthesia staff, and a Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center (planned to upgrade to Level 1). The hospital also hosts a Birthing Center, a 30‑bed obstetrical unit, a maternal‑fetal medicine clinic, a pediatric cardiac surgery program, an epilepsy monitoring unit, and Magnet status for nursing excellence.
