The Work You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Program, set up, and optimize CNC mills and lathes Create, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs using CAM software Support production scheduling and workflow decisions Lead and mentor machinists on the shop floor Improve machining processes, cycle times, and overall efficiency Select tooling, workholding, and machining strategies Perform setup verification and prove-outs for new jobs Ensure operators are properly inspecting and verifying parts Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues Help establish best practices and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate directly with ownership on shop growth and operational decisions This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll have significant influence over how the shop operates and scales moving forward.
