Riverside Medical Group is seeking a Labor Pool Hospitalist physician to join our team at Riverside Smithfield Hospital in Smithfield, Virginia. Location: Riverside Smithfield Hospital, Smithfield, Virginia. Employment Type: Full Time. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients. Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Coordinate with specialists, nurses, and support staff for integrated care. Monitor patient progress, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and adjust treatment plans. Communicate clearly with patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans. Facilitate safe and effective discharge planning and transitions of care. Qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Strong clinical and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Experience in hospital settings and familiarity with inpatient protocols.
