From family-friendly activities to signature Margaritaville celebrations, we deliver fun, escape, and adventure in every moment.As an Activities Assistant, you'll play a vital role in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for our resort guests. You'll help plan, coordinate, and lead a variety of recreational activities that bring people together and enhance their stay.This position may require flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Requirements:Key Responsibilities:Organize and participate in a wide range of activities including picnics, sporting events, dances, and dinnersSet up and break down event spaces before and after activitiesFoster a fun, engaging, and relaxing atmosphere for all guestsMaintain accurate attendance records for each activityAssist in training new team members and volunteers within the Activities DepartmentHelp distribute the resort's weekly newsletter to guestsEnsure all activity equipment and supplies are clean, organized, and in good working conditionPerform additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management teamQualifications:Basic computer skills, including email and internet navigationStrong communication and organizational abilitiesAbility to multitask and adapt in a dynamic environmentComfortable working independently and as part of a teamA positive attitude and a passion for guest engagementPhysical Requirements & Work Schedule:The physical demands described here represent those necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. While carrying out job duties, team members are regularly required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods. The role also involves frequent lifting and moving of items up to 10 pounds, and occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds.Work hours may vary weekly and are influenced by factors such as guest occupancy, seasonal demand, and staffing levels.
