Endocrinologist – Crystal Run Healthcare $30,000 Sign-On Bonus Crystal Run Healthcare, part of the Optum family, seeks a dedicated, patient‑centric end‑ocrinologist to join our practice in the New York suburbs of Middletown, NY. Primary Responsibilities Investigate, diagnose, and treat a full range of endocrine system disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disorders (hypo/hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer), osteoporosis, and related conditions. Provide comprehensive, state‑of‑the‑art diabetes care using a team‑based approach with nurse practitioners, diabetes educators, and nutritionists. Conduct on‑site screening and treatment for osteoporosis. Perform laboratory testing, imaging, and biopsies for thyroid disorders as part of an integrated care pathway. Offer comprehensive medical and procedural endocrine care within a team of 14 fellowship‑trained endocrinologists and advanced practice clinicians. Consult with patients regarding the status and management of their endocrine health, providing the latest advancements in care. Start days in outpatient offices and finish days by rounding at the local hospital. Refer patients to advanced specialists as needed and oversee all treatment before and after surgery, identifying associated risks. Order tests, interpret results, and determine optimal treatment options. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient encounters. Preferred: proficiency with thyroid biopsies. What We Offer Our schedule is Monday through Friday during normal business hours, with manageable on‑call rotations (e.g., one day per week for six or seven week rotations). Patient census is adult‑focused (ages 18+). New graduates are welcome to apply. Current New York State DEA certificate (or ability to obtain). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred Qualification Proficiency / comfort with thyroid biopsies. Location The primary office location is West Nyack, NY (2 Centerock Road). Other locations include Middletown, Monroe, Newburgh, West Nyack, Rock Hill, and Warwick.
