Opportunity Description The role is for physicians who want to practice independently while receiving structured operational support for their own practice. Physicians will establish or transition to an independently operated practice, governed by their own clinical decisions and patient‑care policies, with MedCBO handling all non‑clinical business functions. Key focus areas include: Providing clinical care within the physician’s specialty scope Developing professional relationships within the medical community Determining the clinical services offered and managing clinical quality and patient experience Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination, including legal structure and regulatory compliance Billing and collections management, payer contract negotiation, and revenue cycle management Financial infrastructure and reporting, accounting, and practice financial infrastructure Human resources administration, staffing workflows, and compliance support Technology platform and implementation, including EHR, telehealth, and clinical workflow systems Credentialing, enrollment, and facility privileging coordination Supply‑chain and vendor coordination Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice Interest in the independent practice model Preferred Desire for practice ownership Community‑based care interest Leadership or program development interest Location Multiple U.S. markets are available (urban, suburban, and rural).
