Medical Director of Adolescent Medicine Position Title: Medical Director of Adolescent Medicine, Physician MD/DO, BC/BE Adolescent Medicine Location: Boston Medical Center (BMC), Boston, MA Overview The Department of Pediatrics at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine seeks a full‑time, board‑certified (or board‑eligible) Medical Director to lead the Adolescent Medicine Division at Boston Medical Center. The Division serves adolescents and young adults aged 14‑26 with comprehensive primary care and several subspecialty programs, including menstrual disorders and adolescent addiction. Key Responsibilities Maintain an active ambulatory practice and oversee care for patients with complex needs. Recruit, mentor, and develop an interdisciplinary team that fosters belonging and continuous improvement. Build integrated care pathways with pediatrics, family medicine, psychiatry, OB/GYN, endocrinology, addiction medicine, and community partners. Collaborate with Boston Public Health Commission leaders of the School‑Based Health Program on all clinical aspects of the program. Protected Time Up to 0.20 FTE Compensation Competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience. Salary range: $172,640 – $260,230, to be determined by qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and departmental budget.
